During the 11:00 am in-person worship service, children can worship either in the Sanctuary with their families or in Children’s Chapel with two worship leaders. Through the summer, children ages 3 through grade 5 can worship in Children’s Chapel. Masks and social distancing will be maintained, with children spaced out. A pastor will come to Children’s Chapel for the Time with Children.
What is Children's Chapel?
Children's Chapel is a special place where we talk more softly and walk more slowly because someone may be talking with God. It is a special place to be with God, to talk with God, to listen to God, and to hear the stories of God.
On First United Presbyterian Church's YouTube Channel, there are videos of worship in Children's Chapel. These videos offer opportunities for families to worship and wonder together when it is convenient. Or, families can have a separate device for their children to use on Sunday mornings during the 10:00 am Zoom worship service, after the time with children.
