News and announcements at First United Presbyterian Church of Belleville

According to the Westminster Confession of Faith, worship is the very essense of our purpose in life, and it is at the center of all we do at First United Presbyterian Church. We consider worship to be our emotional, intellectual and heartfelt response to God's grace, person and works. We hope you can join us in any of our Sunday morning worship experiences.

8:00 am
A traditional service held in our chapel. We are led in worship by the pastor, lay liturgists, organ music, traditional hymns and an occasional soloist.

9:15 am
Sunday school classes for all ages.  For more information go to the "Learn" page.

10:30 am
This traditional service takes place in the sanctuary. The worship experience is similar to the 8:00 chapel service with added leadership of the chancel choir, bell choir, children's choirs and state-of-the art audio-visual technology.

Children are very important to us.  For this reason, CHILDCARE is provided for our infants and toddlers during all Sunday morning services. The Crib Room for infants and the Toddler Room for "walkers" up to the age of three are located in the hallway between  the chapel and the Sanctuary. Sue Hall, the Sunday Childcare Supervisor, is responsible for coordinating the volunteers and for maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for our little ones. Childcare is also provided for church-sponsored programs, meetings, and classes on request.
