
Children and Youth
On Sunday mornings at 9:15 am, First United offers year-round Sunday School classes for students ages three through high school. Childcare is available for infants and toddlers all morning at First United. CLICK HERE for more information on childcare.
Ages 3 – Pre-kindergarten
Preschool Sunday School Class
Meets in the Blue Room on the lower level
This class is for children who have turned 3 through pre-kindergarten. Caring teaching teams of parents use the We Believe curriculum based on biblical stories. The sessions incorporate a wide range of activities such as storytelling, music, crafts, and movement.
Kindergarten through 5th Grade

6th – 8th Grades
CrossRoads
Meets in the Library on the Lower Level
This middle school class will use several different studies throughout the year. The students will spend most of the year using the PC(USA) curriculum, With All Boldness and Freedom: A Survey of the New Testament.
9th – 12th Grades
Senior High Class
Meets in the Youth Room on the Lower Level
Students participate in discussions and Bible study each week. They are using the PC(USA) curriculum, Faith Questions.
Children in Chapel - for children ages 3 through 3rd grade
During the 10:30 worship service, all children ages 3 and up will go to the first part of the worship service with their families. After the children's time, at approximately 10:40, students ages 3 through 3rd grade will leave for their own carefully designed, age appropriate worship time in the Vista Room. This program is called "Children in Chapel."
